This is the squad that has won seven Cricket World Cups, plus another six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a squad that has achieved everything.

That it took up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

It's challenging for their batsmen to maintain a record if not afforded the chance.

Finally, the result of Australia conceding 330 was leader Alyssa Healy getting an opportunity to produce her newest gem.

Originally famous as the teenage relative of renowned former Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she debuted in 2010 after her nation couldn't capture either of the T20 or ODI World Cups held the previous year and has experienced everything through 15 trophy-laden years since.

By the time she was removed her side needed 66 additional runs at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Pursuing 330 is new territory so I'm pleased we have the assurance to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, should it happen, we are confident we can achieve it."

These statements will be the last Australia's opponents at this tournament want to hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this victory following success over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.

During that phase they were eliminated from the previous year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - a game Healy was absent due to torn tissue in her foot as she led her country for the initial instance at a major tournament.

So great is her will, she later said she wanted to have participated despite the injury.

But while she subsequently acknowledged those fitness problems have delayed thoughts of retirement, this championship is anticipated as her final tournament as skipper in 50-over cricket and she is hasn't yet secured a global event as leader.

Triumph in India would lead her to the peak of her final mountain.
